Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is an Mexican singer and musician born into a musical family. When she was a kid, she listened to many traditional music as well as older boleros. Also, she listened to the traditional romance ballads as well as ranchero. Ana loves the opera and tango genres as well as every form of dramatic performances. She began singing and learning songs with her mother then began more intense vocal training when she was 16 working with the famous Mexican tenor Flavio Becerra. Her musical education continued at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterwards at the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. The beginning of her professional career was spent performing with various orchestras, chamber ensembles, and opera choirs in Guadalajara. After moving from Mexico to the United States at the age of 2000, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She is currently a member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and often performs as a soloist of traditional Latin American music at private occasions. She has been involved with a number of local organizations and is a teacher and performer, because of her passion of music and art. Ana was a former participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands (as well as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana thank the Inland Master Chorale for their permission to play classic Latin American song.
